Dr. Pousti and his staff are by far the best EVER!!! When I entered Pousti Plastic Surgery Center I immediately felt welcomed and at home. I was completely comfortable with Dr. Pousti and his staff. They were able to help me with any and all questions I had. All consultations are free so anytime I had a question I was able to go in without paying for the answer he introduced me to past patience right there in his office who had gone through the same procedure, which helped A LOT to put me at ease!!!! I have lived in Temecula since I was 13, and at 22 I decided to have breast augmentation. I was not as wise as I am now, by far...there were only less than a handful of plastic surgeons in the Temecula area 8 years ago, and I went with the first one that I saw. He was nice, he seemed knowledgeable, and that was enough for me. Luckily I do not have a horror story or have not been terribly unhappy since my surgery, except for wishing that my implants had been bigger. I have had them for 8 years, and last year, I went in search for a new plastic surgeon, as I was ready for them to be redone, and exactly how "I" wanted them. I went in search for someone, who was going to be on the same page as I was, I was looking for someone who did not have a plan in mind for me, size wise, and was going to be open to hearing what I wanted. I saw two surgeons before Dr. Pousti, one in Newport Beach, and another in La Jolla, both referred to me by friends. I went there, cautious but open minded, I had done some searching for breasts that I liked, and had an idea cc wise, where I wanted to be, knowing that I am about 315 cc's now. I knew when I saw these other doctors, that they were not for me. They were in my mind too conservative and not on the same page as I was. I found Dr. Pousti via the internet, that seemed a little scary to me at first, but as I looked through the before and after photos, by that I could tell, he wasn't too conservative....I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean by looking at the photos, I could see he had done a variety of implants, from small and conservative, to larger more noticeable ones, which I was looking for. I made contact through the website, and was contacted for my consultation. I was nervous and excited all at once, I drove to San Diego and met with Dr. Pousti, I knew he was the surgeon for me from that moment on. We discussed what I was looking for, the pros and cons of larger implants, and I left his office wondering if he was too good to be true? I met with him again, and scheduled my surgery in July of 2003. Three weeks before my surgery, I had to make the call to Dr. Pousti's office to cancel my surgery......I was pregnant. I was so sad, this was not planned, as at that time I had a 7 month old!! I told Dr. Pousti, "I will be back". In the mean time, I referred my girlfriend, whom had also lived out here for the majority of her life, but has lived in Idaho for the last 10 years. She came out, in September, and had her surgery, all on my word that he was awesome! She was very happy and she looks beautiful! I recently contacted Dr. Pousti's office, the girls remembered me, my name, my situation, they were so friendly. I made my consultation again, and met with Dr. Pousti. We then went over everything again, he was very nice and super professional, I can not say enough great things about him, and I haven't even had my surgery yet. My daughter is now 2 1/2 months old, and we are done having children. I lost all of my pregnancy weight, and am scheduled for breast augmentation and liposuction August 6th. I feel a sense of confidence in Dr. Pousti, sometimes it isn't something you can explain, it is a woman's intuition, and I am not afraid or nervous, I am completely confident and comfortable that I am in the best of care. The following is my testimonial regarding my tummy tuck experience performed by Dr. Pousti. I never knew my childhood fantasy could be a reality.
Ever since I was young, I have battled my weight. I can vividly recall stepping on the scale during a class assignment in fifth grade and weighing a whopping 175 lbs!! I knew, very young, that I was fat. To make matters worse, I carried most of my weight in my stomach region. Clothes neer fit, I was constantly tired and my physical appearance left much to be desired -- to say the least.
When I turned 13, I really began focusing on my big belly. I would often grab handfuls of my excess skin and fat and fatasize that I could cut it off! I was literally plagued by my appearance and limited, physically, by the excess skin and fat.
Several years ago, I had my first child (c-section). The pregnancy, high weight gain, abdominal muscle stretching, and subsequent c-section took a major toll on my body. My stomach was officially pendulous. Three years later, I had another child, which only made the appearance of my hanging belly all the more pronounced. Needless to say, I was tired of it. I was ready to make a drastic change; a change for the better. I decided to have a tummy tuck to correct a lifetime of discomfort, embarrassment and inconvenience.
I did my homework. I researched top plastic surgeons all over the country. I knew for me they had to be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. It was important to me that I felt good rapport with the doctor as well. I was pleased and blessed to find Dr. Pousti. I am 56 years old. In July of 2005, I saw Dr. Pousti regarding a facelift.My eyes looked tired all the time. I had the sagging jowls and deep lines around my mouth. He explained the procedure to me in depth. He was very honest in what he could do. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Pousti and his staff and I scheduled my appointment. Two weeks later, I had my surgery with much success. He had a dedicated staff assisting with my surgery.
Everyone was very kind. I came out of surgery with the normal discomfort. Dr. Pousti called me several times to see how I was doing and keeping tabs on my recovery. I felt very assurred.

Breast Augmentation:

I had my breast augmentation 3 months ago, I am feeling great and I cannot believe the results I got in the end. I am a mom of two kids, I breast fed both so that totally ruined any kind of breasts I had after kids. I waited 4 years after my last child was born to begin looking into having a breast augmentation. I was unsure about the risks of surgery and all that could happen but one day I decided that enough was enough, I had so much breast tissue I would hate for my husband to even touch them so I decided to start looking for a plastic surgeon. I went to several Dr.’s and had many, many, consultations but I never felt comfortable with any of the Doctors, I rarely received calls back on questions or even just a warm smile from the office staff. So I stopped looking for a Dr. for a few months and decided to go back on line and research some more. I came across Dr. Pousti’s web-site and said ok this one has to be it or I don’t know what I’m going to do. The office staff was very professional and kind on the phone, and even more so when I went in for my consultation.

When I met Dr. Pousti he didn’t make me feel rushed, he took his time answering questions and he didn’t seem like he had to be somewhere else even with a full waiting room. He just made me feel comfortable. I did not hesitate to schedule me surgery as soon as I could. I had me surgery about a month after my consultation and the day of surgery was great, I was nervous but feeling good everyone at the surgery center were reassuring and wonderful. When I awoke from surgery I felt good, and I was ready to go home, on the way Dr. Pousti called me on the phone to check how I was feeling, I couldn’t believe it that just shows what a great Dr. he really is, he really cares about his patients.

The first couple of days were a little challenging for me, I didn’t have any pain, I just couldn’t handle not doing anything but resting. I went to my post op appointment a few days later and I finally got to see my breasts without the bandage, I was so excited and I couldn’t believe that they didn’t look bruised and the incision was so tiny. My only complaint was wearing the surgery bra but it was well worth it. I can’t thank Dr. Pousti enough for his talent and for being such a warm caring person, he has given me more confidence and I will never forget it. All of the ladies in his office really are wonderful; together they are a great team helping people.

Dear Dr. Pousti,
I just want to thank you for the wonderful change in life you have made! Each of my surgeries has turned out to be better than I could have ever imagined. After losing approximately 65 lbs and having six children I needed help! My skin is so thin and the sagging was so disappointing after all of the exercise and dieting. Two years ago I had a tummy tuck by another doctor in the Murrieta area. I was pleased (As I did not know what to expect). I wanted to continue on my journey and a co-worker highly recommended you. A little over a year ago I went to you and another Doctor (located La Jolla) for a consultation. The day after my consultation in La Jolla, the doctor’s office was already calling to offer me a discount. I received calls from his office form almost year (even after my surgery) offering discounts. It made me feel like they were a little too desperate for my business! You have such a good attitude and make your patients feel so special! My husband and I appreciate how thorough you were explaining the procedure (belt lipectomy) and what to expect. I was also impressed that you wanted to meet with me several times before agreeing to perform my surgery to make sure that I was a good candidate, was fully aware of what to expect with this type of surgery, and that I was comfortable with you. After getting to know you and your staff I had no hesitation in having you perform this procedure. Until I saw some of your patients, I had no idea what a difference there was in the way your tummy tuck procedures looked and the way mine looked! My scar was so wide and thick and your patients had beautiful thin scars. When you preformed my surgery you also revised my scar. I was so pleased with the outcome that I knew I would have you complete my transformation. My second surgery was one year later for a medial and lateral thigh lift. I had so much extra skin that I was embarrassed to wear shorts or a bathing suit! You again were very honest and explained all the details of the procedure and recovery. You recommended that I stay at a recovery center for several days after the surgery as we live out of town. I am so glad that I stayed at the Hideaway as I needed to stay put and they made that easy. My husband and I were very impressed with Julie, Christy and their staff and how gentle and compassionate they were. They are a great complement to the whole experience. Again I was so pleased and the results were so much more than I expected. My legs look great! My last surgery was an arm lift and again the results were beyond what I had dreamed. The outcome is so impressive and you are always there for my husband and I. You are always more than happy to answer our endless questions and explain everything. I can’t express how grateful I am to you. You are such an artist and make such a difference in your patients' lives. Breast Augmentation:

I am 18 years old and live in Hemet, California. I went to Doctor Pousti wanting breast augmentation. I met with Doctor Pousti several times before scheduling my operation and always felt comfortable and well taken care of. The staff in his office were also very kind and interested in my procedure. I then made my operation date for June 4, 2005.

After surgery, I experienced mild discomfort, but nothing intolerable. Dr. Pousti called several times after surgery to see how I was doing, including a few hours after the procedure. Dr. Pousti always showed how much he cared. After a week , all the discomfort was gone.

It is now October 21, 2005, approximately five months after my prodedure, and I could not be happier with my results. was pleasant, and when Dr Pousti walked in he was not in a rush and took the time to answer all my questions that I had and was very professional I scheduled my surgery for three weeks later. The day of my surgery I was very at ease with the nurses, and staff at the hospital and especially the
anesthesiologist (thank you, thank you, you guys were awesome) and when I woke up it was over and there was barely any pain thinks to Dr Pousti's Nurse that gave me my
prescriptions the next two days were alot easier than I expected pain wise and I was surprised how well I had felt By Friday 3 days later I was off the pain meds and walking around at the mall (don't worry Dr Pousti I wasn't
lifting or carrying the bags) and the best part was they looked great they were no longer down by belly button they were where they were supposed to be and they actually had volume again my boobs have never been so full as long as I can remember. When I tried on my bathing suit the top that I wore last summer no longer fit I can not wait to go bathing suit shopping for this summer. WOW! I don’t even know where to start.
So, after having kids and yo-yo dieting for the last eight years my body had been put though the ringer, so to speak. I wanted to have my pre-baby body back. Say that three times, fast! The only way for me to achieve this was with a tummy tuck, breast lift, and small implants. Exercise and diet was not helping, well maybe a little but stretched skin does not go away. My husband and I have been talking about me getting these procedures done for a couple of years. I just wanted to look as beautiful and sexy as he made me feel. So, I finally started researching doctors. I did a lot of searching online. Some of the referrals I got from friends, and some I found myself, one of which was Dr. Pousti. We went on many consultations, prior to meeting Dr. Pousti, they made me so nervous I was so worried that they would tell me I still needed to lose weight and I was already so self conscious that the last thing I needed to hear was that I should lose more weight.
He was my FINAL consultation. He is so genuine and he made me feel so comfortable, well, as comfortable as I could be with all my rolls hanging out. You know what I am talking about, the extra rolls of you stomach, that hit your thighs when you sit down to go to the bathroom, yeah those rolls! Skin touching skin on your own body, not pleasant! I was not nervous at all, when you go to his office for a consult you get to see other post-op patients and their new look, so you feel more at ease.
He answered all my questions with even more detail than other doctors had.
All the girls in the office are awesome and so welcoming, I knew when I left that this was the doctor that was going to make me look as sexy as I felt!
Dr. Pousti had one of the office girls call a patient that had just had the same exact surgery that I wanted. I was able to talk with her on the phone, which was also very helpful in making my decision. I followed her though her recovery and that was it for me, she looked absolutely amazing, and I thought, that is going to be me.
Of course, with any surgery, you have concerns, yeah this was going to be a little stressful on my body. Childbirth was no walk in the park. I was so ready to replace the excess skin with scars. It was a trade I was willing to make.
I went to the office the night before my surgery to be all marked up and ready for the BIG DAY! That’s fun, NOT! Having all your sagginess lifted and measured to be drawn on, very cute! It was all good, though, at this time the next day it would ALL be gone and I would be on the road to recovery. I was excited, not nervous, yet! I had been so excited leading up to my surgery that I thought I would not get scared, but the morning of my surgery a little nervousness set in, okay, a lot.
Dr. Pousti came in as calm and collected as always, checked all my markings,
assured me he would take good care of me. And, that he did! I laid down on the table and Michelle, his assistant, put some music of my choice on, Dr. Pousti was holding my hand and making sure that as I feel asleep I was in a happy place! Because at this point I could have run out of the surgical room and I think he could see that in my face. He told me to think happy thoughts and the next thing I knew I was in the recovery area and Julie from the Hideaway was there to pick me up. I strongly recommend if you can, stay 1-2 nights at her place it is the best choice I made, they cater completely to you. They showed my husband and me how to take care of everything so when we got home we would know what to do.
That evening at the Hideaway, Dr. Pousti came by to see how I was doing. I thought that was nice.
My recovery went well. I was honestly not in excruciating pain, the first few days were a little rough but I would do it all again in a minute. I think I expected the worst pain and when it was not what I thought, I was good to go. Yeah, it was uncomfortable at times but completely manageable.
I am now about 3 months post-op and feeling great! Loving my new body and my husband is pretty happy, too! If you’re still looking for a doctor, STOP, look no more, you will not find a better doctor out there, trust me, I looked.

Breast Augmentation:

I consider myself to be a modest woman, maybe even conservative. I might not seem like a typical candidate for breast augmentation, but it is something that I have wanted ever since I was a teenager.
I always felt self-conscious about my breast size. During high school, I was an “A” cup. Later, I had three children and nursed each of them for twelve months. While I was nursing, I was able to experience what it would be like to have larger breasts. But by the time I finished nursing my last child, I became even more dissatisfied with my breasts, as now they were small, but also sagging! At this point, I wore a “B’ cup, but I would not buy a bra unless it was heavily padded. Going to the beach was embarrassing and I often wore a large t-shirt over my swimsuit.
This last summer, I was finally able to get down to within a few pounds of my pre-pregnancy weight. While I was excited with losing weight, I was disappointed to see that my breasts had also gotten smaller. It was the final deciding point for me.
I called my sister and asked her for Doctor Pousti’s number, as she had breast augmentation done several years earlier with Dr. Pousti and her results were fantastic. As soon as I hung up the phone with her, I called Dr. Pousti and scheduled a consultation a few days later. My next step was to go to his website and check out the possibilities with the before and after pictures of real patients.
When I went to my appointment, the office staff was so friendly and cheerful that I felt comfortable discussing my hopes and concerns with them. When I met with Dr. Pousti he was very reassuring and confident. Before I left, I scheduled my surgery. Living in the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley, I was very thankful that Dr. Pousti has an office in the Murrietta/Temecula area, so that I did not have to drive all the way to San Diego (even though I would have been willing to)!
The surgery itself went well. The staff and the environment at the surgery center were also great. My recovery has been going well. I stayed home for six days after my surgery and returned to work (as a high school teacher) being careful about how much I moved my arms. I only took the “heavy duty” pain pills he prescribed during the first 4 – 5 days and then I switched to over-the-counter Motrin.
I am thrilled with my results! Even though my husband has always been good about telling me how beautiful I am, now I can actually believe him. I finally have the confidence that has been lacking for a long time. I can’t wait until my four-week check-up so that I can start wearing “real” bras in my new size (probably a D)!!!
